Customers at the Principal Bank in Ramsgate were left shocked when a parliament of owls invaded their branch last week.

The owls took up residence in the cheque cashing part of the bank, forcing services to be suspended for a period of time.

All owls were eventually captured and released back into the wild.

However, despite the release site being 15 miles from the branch, the owls managed to find their way back into the bank.

They have now been caught for a second time and will be taken to a release site over 200 miles away.

Should they find their way back into the bank for a third time, it is likely the branch will have to be relocated to a different part of Ramsgate.

The reason for the owls’ obsession with the bank is unclear.
